At Bay Area Regional Medical Center, we are committed to providing some of the best technology when it comes to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) testing for the Houston Bay Area community. Our goal is to provide the highest level of compassionate care to you and your loved ones. The team of technologists and radiologists has experience, skills and expertise you can count on.

An MRI test can provide doctors with clear images of your body that they can use to diagnose health problems.

The test is painless, but it can be daunting for some people because traditional MRI machines are tight spaces that can feel a bit claustrophobic.

At Bay Area Regional, we offer a different MRI option.

Our wide-bore MRI machine provides more space during the test, which creates a more comfortable experience without sacrificing any image quality.

What Is an MRI?

MRI machines use powerful magnets and radio waves to create pictures of the inside of the body. The test doesn't use radiation and the images it creates are clearer and more detailed than those provided by some other types of imaging tests.

When you're dealing with issues involving ligaments, cartilage or blood vessels, an MRI might be your doctor's go-to tool. An MRI might also be used for a brain or breast cancer diagnosis, while a cardiac MRI might help your doctor to diagnose heart disease.

MRIs Done with Compassion

When you choose Bay Area Regional for your MRI testing, you have access to some of the most advanced technology available and you get respect and compassion from our team of imaging specialists.

Our radiology technologists explain every step of the process in detail, and they will stay close by to make sure you are comfortable.

When the test is over, our radiologists will work closely with your doctor to find the underlying cause and develop a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for you.
